Follow up on the previous post

This is good to see. Thank you Fabregas:
- for setting up the first goal
- for having the nerves and step up to score the penalty after all that has happened
- for setting up the third goal
- for kicking players that kicked you
- for sssshhhh-ing Tony Pulis
- for rallying the players together

Lastly,
- for being an Arsenal player and captain

For Ramsey!

Guess what, we traveled to Stoke, expected to have a tough match, we got one and dug deep to beat them. But, it came at an extremely heavy price, an injury to young Aaron Ramsey. It's not just a normal injury, it involved his lower shin left hanging. Can't imagine? Look up on Eduardo's injury on Google or any other sources on the net and you should have a better picture of what happened. Is it dejavu all over? Edu was injured in this fashion, we went on scoring twice but got a completely wrong penalty call against us which caused our season to go downhill until recently when we got going again. This time, we got the win as we're more mature, but what effect is it going to bring to the team? More so to the promising Aaron Ramsey?

The tackle was not as bad as the one on Edu, but the outcome was the same. The plus on this, it that the team got a player with similar experience so he could guide the young man. Ironic right? Such a horror experience can actually be a plus for the team. That speaks volume on how the team is being treated by other teams. 'Kick Arsenal to stop them' has to stop!!

On the league table, we cut the gap on the top to just 3, remember my previous post? See what I meant now? Its just a bitter sweet day, but Man City was the key this week, they tire Stoke in midweek, and beat Chelsea. It would be better if Ramsey did not get injured. Come on you Gunners, if there wasn't enough reasons to win the league, here is one more. For Ramsey!!!

UPDATED
I just decided to add a few images to this post, just to tell how the Arsenal players are being treated by other players and the media. The media even blame ourselves for getting injured as we play too fast and with quick feet...WTF!?!?!

*First, Diaby. Ankle injury, out for 9 months.

*Two years ago. Taylor on Edu, 9 months out. The contact, high, no attempts in playing the ball what-so-ever, pure assault. The tackle that cost us the title. For the outcome of this tackle, check it out yourself in both images and videos alike but prepare a strong tummy.

Lastly, as for Aaron Ramsey, I decided to upload the picture. Be prepare as it might be disturbing to some:-

*Just now. The aftermath of the tackle....Horrible. Full marks to Gleen Whelan (no.6), unlike other Stoke players and fans.

Hope you can recover and lay your grace on the pitch in the future. Go Gunners!!!

Here is a link to an article that I find sums up everything for the Arsenal. Click here.

Shitty feeling

Just got back from college, and the title of this tale is just how I am feeling at the moment. Although there had been good and bad things that happened today, the good happened and finished, the bad is still lingering around me.

Ok, I am suffering from insomnia, not everyday, but its still quite frequent so its really messing with me both physically and mentally. I can't stay awake in class for more than 20 minutes, not that the class is bored, I enjoy class but I just could not stay up! GET SOME SLEEP TAT YANG!...So, I spent the whole night of Sunday and Monday morning, awake, on my bed flipping around trying to fall asleep but failed miserably. So, I went to college on Monday, feeling like a walking corpse. Surprisingly, given how tired I was, I wasn't sleepy which was good for me as I managed to get myself through the day. That afternoon, went shopping (I didn't buy anything) with my classmates, all girls by the way at Sunway Pyramid. Well, all I can say is that its a good training of patience when shopping with girls as they can take almost forever in an outlet...Girls and shopping, what more is needed to be said? Well, perhaps what caused my shitty feeling is that I went futsal on Monday night. Turned out to be a very bad idea, I enjoyed the night but the aftermath is painful.

Today, Tuesday, I got to experience the aftermath at its nastiest. Although I managed to sleep last night (If I still couldn't then something must be very wrong with me), I woke up feeling as tired as I never felt before, not wanting to get up is an understatement I think. But, still needed to drag myself out of bed as Michelle was coming to fetch me so I got ready and the whole day, even until now, my eyes are burning and head is spinning. Class came and went as usual, struggled to stay awake as usual but today was the hardest. Then had a nice lunch outing with my awesome classmates Anty, Nanda, Indri, Trace, Leni and Feli (I am the only guy again XD) then I met up with Michelle as she prepared for her Taxation paper. Well, those two are pretty much what happened right for me today. But, the story ain't over yet.

I am totally drenched, why? Well, our all too kind sun, plus its a very clear day, decided to shine at its brightest and hottest when I am walking under it and I just got information that it was near 50 degree? Well, the aftermath of futsal was quite simple, from chest down, not much is free from pain, my lower back hurts, my thigh hurt a bit, my busted knee is still busted, and both my ankle hurt...Well, maybe I have stopped being under the sun for such a long time, that I couldn't really stand very long under its glare, my already spinning head spun just a little faster...Just great right? My head, back and lower body plus the weather, just glad that it was over, the moment I got into my living room, even without the fan, it was C-O-L-D for goodness sake.

Done nagging for now. If you managed to finish reading this post, and thinks I nag too much..Well, I never really asked any of you to finish reading every post I write although I appreciates a lot for any support given to my blog, but hey, Its my blog, I post what I want ok? Peace!

Where do we go from here?

Another game played, another lost. The 'Awesome Foursome' is coming to an end, with in-form Liverpool visiting us in mid-week, which is not good for us. However, despite the lost, I still, somehow, believe it not all lost yet. Wanna know why? I'll try to explain.

As you can see, all is gone for Arsenal it seems, but what made us think that when the season is not even over yet? Well, who else than the media? Their job is to make the winning team look unbeatable and make the losing team feel as if its end of the world. The whole world knows the media loves and favors MU so no doubt, the season is 'lost' for Arsenal in the papers, but I say no. Mainly because the season is not over yet and our performance this time around was better than last week's albeit coming after shipping two goals. The current season is one where any team can take points off any team on any given day. MU may traditionally have a very strong second half of the season but we shall see about that. The top 2 team, Chelsea and MU still have to play each other, plus both of them still need to play Liverpool and Aston Villa, points may still be dropped between them. We had them all, just that we had them all in a row.

All is dead and buried for Arsenal on paper, but what they have to do now, is to dig deep, dig deeper than they ever dug before. We are in a position where after this extremely difficult period, provided we still do our thing and score as many points as we can, we can still salvage something for ourselves. Self-belief is need, character and nerves of steel are required, just take one game at a time and we shall see what we get. Well, I may sound overly optimistic, but hey, I love the club, and I hope they can do themselves justice after a promising start, only to have our spear-head taken out for nearly three quarter of the season in an international friendly, on my birthday...Come on you Gunners!!! Don't give in now.

As for Robin van Persie, if you happen to read this, please get back as soon as possible. There are reports saying you may be back earliest by mid-march, and I really hope that ankle of yours can fully recover by then and drag us across the finish line in a position better than the current one. Get well soon Robin as Bendtner is not our answer, seeing him running as though avoiding the million of nails on the floor is less than convincing.

Lack motivation

My assignment!!!! AARRRGGHHHHHHHHH!!! Still procrastinating until today...The due date is creeping closer and closer with every passing seconds. Another week, another wasted as I made no progress with it what-so-ever. I'll be really screwed if this continues on as I would have my mid-term to save my ass this time around, only this assignment. Buck up!!!

Having said that, the game is still happening tonight. Hope I'll have a good night to kick start my week so I can get some directions and complete them during the week. Good luck to me and of course to Arsenal!!!

We're heading to the Bridge

After last week's shambolic performance, this week we travel to Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea, where in anytime of the year, never an easy place to visit. More so with the table being so tight, plus our self belief may be shattered after being hammered at home by MU...

To add fuel to the raging fire, last year we won with two pieces of master class by Robin van Persie, which is injured this time around. Well, if we win, it would truly be a miracle, a draw would be the most realistic 'good' result for us when a lost, if pretty much expected with our performance. Hope for the best tomorrow night. Come on you GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!

* We miss you badly on the pitch...T_T

We Lost

Final score 1-3. We lost, had been a very good host to Chelsea and MU this season, shipping 3 goals in each match with only 1 reply.

After a quite a bright start, we faded off and MU took full advantage. First goal, our keeper Almunia, with nerves of jelly, palm a chip into his own net..What a start right? The the next two goals came from United's counter. Purely our own fault as we lack the willingness to chase back and again, our keeper is our weak link. Our goal came a bit too late but it did came and should had a second if Gallas knew where he was. Final score, 1-3. Better team won, congratulations.

I do like to point out that, the night on a whole, we were very wasteful. Which cost us even more dearly with a nervy keeper. What to do? Let's just pick ourselves up and keep going. Come on you Gunners!

P/S : I do have to say this, thank you the machine that decides the fixture, for giving us Aston Villa, MU, Chelsea and Liverpool back-to-back-to-back-to-back....F**k you bloody machine.
