Good Bye 2009!

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!

My first 50th

Yes, I just realized that this is my 50th tale. Did not plan for this because since I had been absent for some time, just wanna have a compilation to cover all those I wanted to write. So, here goes!

Firstly, I bid my first semester as a student of the Bachelor of Science (hons.) Business Management goodbye as I had completed it, wrote all the papers and the rest is out of my hands. Hope I can pass all of them so that can enter my second my semester peacefully. Good luck to all my classmates and not forgetting my friends from Psychology as well..in short, just to everyone XD! Since I am in my holidays now, I am going back to Kuching this Saturday, I ask for nothing else but a safe flight back home and same goes to those traveling back home. Will see you all next year yea! The journey through my first semester was a, I think its safe to put it as a fond one. Had a pretty rough start with demands and expectation but gradually began to manage it and things just went smoothly from there onwards. Met and made some friends along the way and they are all awesome, glab will be spending the next 3 years with them =D.

Speaking of going back to Kuching, well nothing much planned for it besides helping my parents out, meeting my friends, hang out, sleep on my own bed, home's comfort and pretty much eating the food back home and my mom's as well *drool*.

Well, during my absence, I turned 19 XD! Big boy already :p as Sue would put it. Did not have party or that sort of things because I do not plan for it, unless my friends are kind enough to do that for me. If not, I rather not celebrate it, it like celebrating one's one step closer to the dreaded word which begins with a D. I got quite a bit of new stuff, well mostly under my parents' budget as this time so a BIG thank you to both my parents!

First, its from Yip.

*Got this Arsenal bag which Michelle used to store her present as well

*This is what Yip gave me.

*The bag also contained this, from Michelle

*Opens up to this little message from Michelle

*The box contained this! My first ever, original jersey and its Arsenal's away kit 09/10.
Thanks Michelle!!!

Next, these are what I chose. My parents' money...hehe

*Two pairs of jeans from ROMP

*A pair of flip flops from Banana Peel

Next, from my friends in Psychology.

*From Natalie, a wrapped present and a bracelet from India!(which she was looking to give it away for some time. Nonetheless, thanks Nat)

*These are what she wrapped

*From Nadya, the left is for last year while the right one is this year...another for next year?

Lastly, perhaps the bomb among the other, in terms of price, from my dad. A HTC Touch 2 phone. Well, the story behind a change of phone is because my mom wants my Sony Ericsson K810i, so in exchange to that, they get me a new one. Thanks mom and dad!!

There you have it. A little of what has happened when I was not writing. A very belated birthday to those born on the 14th of November =D. Looking forward to 2010. To sum it all up, 2009 was a good year for me.

That brings the end of my 50th tale. All the best to those who are having exams. Happy holidays to those that completed their exams. Take care people. Signing off!

UPDATE

Came back after my one month off, and I got presents from Veron

*This is what she made, which my 'other half's' name on it

* Inside is a card and a small blue MANLY coloured sakura, with my initials on it. Nothing fancy but its the thoughts that matter =D. Thanks Veron

Besides that, she also prepared a little Christmas gift for me as well

*Nice artwork right?

*I got another Arsenal FC's accessories

Where do I belong?

Good morning! Well, for some, which exclude me because I haven't sleep yet. Been trying to study, note, trying...but just could not absorb what I was reading so I stopped. Realized that I haven't been updating here for a while, got some posts pending but got no moon to write them..yet. So,here I am, writing this instead.

As the title would suggest, who the hell am I? After nineteen years, and 15 days being alive, I still could not answer that particular question. Why? here is why...

I'd always identified myself as the one who has quite a number of friends, but no best friends. Maybe its the way I segregate things though, I am not sure. But as time passes by, I realize I do have some friends who are, to me, more than just a F-R-I-E-N-D. Take for example, my not-so-little-but-still-younger-than-me sister, Sue May and her other half, the-never-to-be-messed-with Veron. They are two important people in my life, but the irony is, the way we met each other and the number of times that we actually see each other and what more to say hang out are so limited, I do have so-called 'Best Friends' after all =D. Note that I mentioned segregating things? I do have a friend, whom I grew up with since secondary school, Raymond. I would call him my close friend but never my best because we only got certain topics that will get us going all day long, either gaming or football. Maybe he is my best friend all these while just that I never realize...Yea, so that is one, I don't even know who the people around me are and may had even taken for granted some along the way.

Next, realized when I mentioned about my besties, the ratio of girl to guy is 2:1? Yea, I hang out with girls a lot more than guys. Well, one would normally see me, in a group, being one of the or the only guy in the particular group. The thing with me is, I don't talk much but hanging around with girls is that, they talk ALOT. Contradicting I know but I 'don't know' how to hang out with a guy group maybe? Hmm, maybe a clash or interest? Not saying that I share the exact same interest as girls do but guys talk about cars (I got no idea of), gadgets (I am still ok), girls (I prefer not to judge others) and other topic which aren't my cup of tea. Take for example music, the music I listen to ranges from slow ballads all the way to metal...Imagine that..and compare that to most of the guy friends I have around saying what I listen to is noise...I think that is a clear fullstop on that topic. So, where do I belong?

There is another thing I am still pondering about. I myself realize that I am a bit feminine for a guy but not to those extent of what some would call 'softies', for how I carry myself, sitting and standing posture. I do realize that, but hey, I'd been like that for who knows how long. I can't change that way I am that I have gotten so used to. However, after saying that, I know I am a guy, a normal one I would add. Just that I do not know how and why, I become like this. I am most of the time, caught right in the middle...

Hmm, everything that I write sounds like I myself is the problem here..Well, maybe so. Just wanna voice this out at least...Donno why I even write this in the first place.haha. Better go to sleep now. Btw, a shoutout to all my classmates. GOOD LUCK IN THE COMING EXAM!!!!

P/S - Its Arsenal vs Chelsea tonite at the Grove. The build up to this game, from Arsenal's point-of-view, if more or less like my past few days. Bad...Need a miracle tonight! Go Gunners!!!

2012

I watched the movie just now =D!!! I went along with Feli, Nanda, Anty and Indri, to catch the 130 pm show at Pyramid. Like some of the movie that I watched this year that I liked, for example 'Up' and 'This Is It', this one will be ranked among those, but I would not say it is the best.

The movie, is by far the coolest movie to hit the silver screen, the effects were breathe taking while the story line, with a bit of twist here and there, was awesome as well. Go catch this one whenever you can as I would highly recommend it to most, if not everyone.hehe. Hope you'll enjoy the movie as much as I did!

Well, this movie shows that when nature get pissed, we got all but Hell to pay, and with the way we are running the world today, I think we're just inviting 2012 to come sooner. Same goes to after wathcing 'This Is It', a strong message to save our environment struck me. Well, I started doing my own little part in practising recycle whenever I could, well call it petty but its better than nothing right? Just food for thoughts.

Just commentary

Since I do not really have much to write about, I'll just comment on the Wolves vs Arsenal game which just ended not long ago. Sue, sorry yea, bear with me =). The game ended 4-1, with Wolves's manager promising that they will come and attack us and exploit our weaknesses, came they did and exploited they did...

The game started off at a fast tempo, a little too fast for both teams but Wolves were knocking on the door on several occasions, mostly from set-pieces but they failed to capitalize, which is good news for me but it was ringing some alarm for Arsenal. But, after soaking up most of the pressure, Arsenal went one up, guess what, from a corner. Fabregas whipped in a corner, with Eduardo pressurizing the defender and who-knows-what the keeper was doing, the goal was nudged in off the defender who was under-pressure from Eduardo. 1-0 XD. The second was soon on the way, with Arsenal seeming to be more ruthless nowadays, which I hope this will continue, they pressed for the second goal. The ball was knock onto Ramsey and Arsenal broke. With only Eduardo supporting the youngster, he laid the ball off to Eduardo and with time on his side, his first time chip which seemed like a return pass to Ramsey was deflected off a defender that eventually beat his own keeper, making it a glorious chip by Eduardo, 2-0! Just before half time, Arsenal got the needed third goal, as an assurance and they got it off a slick move which was initiated by Fabregas who passed to Sagna and surged towards the opposition penalty area. Sagna then pass to van Persie who made a run towards the near post to lay it off Fabregas who continued his run to slot pass the keeper, 3-0!

The second half was more of a boring affair, with Arsenal playing safe while attacking occasionally, the fourth did arrive, from Andrey Arshavin! Wolves's keeper punched a corner and Arshavin reacted well to hit on a volley on the edge of the penalty area to beat the keeper. A goal of excellent technique. However, we did concede, it is like a custom nowadays that Arsenal must allow a goal to enter their net at least once in a game. It was from a corner which a Wolves's player, a free header....4-1 it ended...Ramsey was given a full 90 minutes, which he did well when the team attacked but committed a few school boy mistakes which is quite worrying but in a game against a 'smaller-team', I think we could allow him to learn. Nasri and Rosicky were given time to find their match fitness which is good to see them back. Van Persie could not continue his scoring streak but did had an assist. Vermaelan was ever solid and Gallas wasn't too shabby as well. Arshavin scored which is a good thing and Fabregas is still on form which is vital. But most notably is the presence of Song, when he came on, Arsenal looked more solid, but he will be away for the African Cup of Nations, so its an area that Wenger should thinking about. 4-1, we swept aside another 'smaller-club' and keeping pressure on the top 2 which is good. We have every chance to win it this year, Go GUNNERS!!!

Did I ever mentioned that I got infected by a virus which caused me to have fever and a heavy flu? If not, then now I'll write about it briefly, it happened before Genting and I just shaken off the flu completely like 3 days ago, but it seems like the virus is not completely out of my system yet, which caused me to have either headache or dizziness during the past week. It happened everyday, literally. So, I went to the doctor just now and got some more medication. Hope this time I'll fully recover from the virus. Take care people! Signing off...

This Is It

So much for the title being "This Is It", what I wanna say now is that...that was it Michael, that was I-T!

Well, the human race is a funny race, because we only truly learn to appreciate what was or were there for us all along until it is gone, completely out of our world and into the next. Same goes for the King of Pop, the late Michael Jackson. When he was still alive, we called him a pedophile or called him all sort of names. But just as he left us, we, all of the sudden, started to like him again and the boy who claimed he was molested by Michael came out to confess that it never happened. So all these while we were accusing him for nothing and he went to court for nothing as well. That is the power of the media, they could make you an icon in an instant and they could also make you a public enemy in the next minute. As for Michael, all we can say now is that he was one of the victim that we can learn from...

As for me, to be truly honest with you, before he died, all I know about him was "Heal the World", some parts of his songs, a bit of this and that. That was all. But now, I know most of his songs and what he had done for the world in raising awareness and uniting people of different background. When he was still alive, I thought he lost it when he had that many number of times on the surgery table and bleaching his skin, that perhaps was his downfall to his illustrious career. I regret for not knowing him and appreciating for what he had done for us, and I am sad to say that it is because of his death that I started to admire him. Long liveD the king!

The movie was perhaps the one which took me on a roller coaster ride for my emotions, I teared up, I smiled and sang for most part of the movie. He managed to impact me in such way, what of those who were his fans since back then I wonder? I could only imagine, a man that could influence not just a few person, but the whole world by doing something that he enjoyed, performing. So instead of mourning for his death, why not we be thankful for what he had done and continue on his vision? That is the very least of what we could offer back to the King. Michael was here and he did conquered, leaving us with endless fond memories. Thank you sincerely Michael Jackson. May you bring joy in a better place. =)

Don't really have much to write, feeling for him is just beyond words. So, apologies for undermining his greatness. Peace!

I survived Genting!

As I am writing this post, my head is spinning badly mainly due to the lack of sleep over the past few days...I just got back from Genting around 4 just now, spent two nights over there and had a pretty good time over there. This time, I think I can say that I went all out at the theme park, trying out almost every rides and anything that I can get my hands on. Tried the Space Drop TWICE!! The second time to accompany my beloved sister, MissAnomaly, Sue, of course, how can we forget Veron! She waited for us, carry 3 octopi in the cold while we get the drop of our lives. Warmed up with the Cyclone, experience the thrills of the Cork Screw, raced the Carts, flew like Superman at the Flying Coaster, got wet in Sungai Rajang and finally at night going through the mines. Those were the rides I went throught and I did NOT threw up albiet feeling a bit sick and I found out that I am actually not too shabby with a crossbow =D. Took quite a bit of photos over there, mostly being stupid...hehe. I ended Saturday night's outdoor adventure with a trip to the Emirates and went back a happy boy ^^.

Well, the moment we arrived at Genting on Friday, my first mission was to locate a spot where the Arsenal vs. Tottenham game will be showed. After a while, the target was spotted and it was at a bar, an open-air bar where the Gondolas cricled. I went to the game with Sue, who was willing to accompany me. Well, I do not drink so she drank instead and I ate. The game began and I was all hpyed up for the game. The game was tight until the 40th minute, around that time, the deadlock was broken. From a Sagna's cross, van Persie raced onto the cross to tap in the first of the match, his fifth straight goal in the Premier League. Just was I was calming down from the celebration and the screen just continuing onto the live play after the replay, the second went in! I celebrated again!!! Mind you, I got a minor sore throat when I went to Genting, the rides did not help me nurse my throat as well but I cheered my lungs out! Palacios lost the ball to van Persie after the kick off, Fabregas took it on, beat a man and avoided Palacios's tackle and nutmagged King before slotting his shot past Gomes with two on rushing defenders...pure class!!! Pace, agility, technique and composure, all displayed by the 22 year old. The goals were only seperated by 11 seconds, if count the real playing time and if the actual time was around 49 seconds. 2-0 into half time, I could not complain but I did managed to find somthing to complain though, there was a live band performing, they were not bad but their timing was just bad because I do not like to be disturbed especially during an Arsenal game. Well, second half resumed and the third went in through van Persie again and it was 3-0, that was how the game ended. But it was nice seeing how Wenger got frustrated when the team should be playing smart and not too offensive because he could not get the message through to his team. I think he finally learnt the lesson. A very good win over our bitterest rival, we made them ate their words and slap them back to reality!!! Go GUNNERS!!!!

Well, pictures of Genting will be up shortly in Facebook I hope because I do not have the pictures, so I think either Sue or Veron will be uploading it. So do check it out when they are out ^^. Well, there was a low in Genting as well, not gonna write about it. Just wanna say, I live on this world FOR my family as they are the ones who are closest to me and brought me up to be the guy I am today. As for my friends around me, I live WITH them as they are the ones who gets me through the day. If you do not like what I said, either sue me or STFU. Thanks.

My head is killing me so I'll stop here and get ready for bed. Take care =D

I'm down and almost out...

This week is coming to an end, the week began quite fine for me but it all went downhill ever since. I am now ending this week, down with a heavy flu...my nose is running like crazy and it causes me to sneeze a lot...urgh.. Aside from that, thanks to the running nose, my throat is also affected. Those were what I battled the whole day but there is more as my joints are starting to sore and I am having diarrhea too. Just great...too great!!! Just hope I can shake all these off as soon as possible...so sickening! Only thing for me to look forward to now is the Arsenal game tomorrow, please at least grant me an Arsenal's victory. Take care people. Signing out

A combination of two days

(this post was written on two separate days...on the 17th and the 18th)

Finally, the bloody interlull is over and done with, no more international football for now where potential injuries would happen, in Arsenal's case, it is almost certain at least one would come back injured, this time its Bendtner but the other big guns came back fine so not too bad this time. Well, later tonight, Birmingham City will visit the Grove, what happened two years ago is still fresh in my mind, first thing tht would come into my mind is the Eduardo's injury, not going to post the picture of that incident here because it is really disturbing. When the incident happened, I did not watched it live as it happened because I think my dad was watching some other programme before my turn, by the time I watched the game was already the second half. Eduardo would not be involved in this game due to an injury so does Martin Taylor, the one who broke his leg who is also out with injury. Secondly and thirdly, as these two cases would have a really strong connection which was the very, very cruel and wrong penalty call on Chichy's challenge. He got the ball cleanly but the referee awarded the penalty to Birmingham, it was the 90th minute and the game ended 2-2 and Gallas's outburst at the end of the game...from then on, that ever so promising season when all the way downhill, a real turning point indeed and by the end of the season, we lost both Flamini (for free) and Hleb...Well, this time around, let's just show that we've grown from that incident and keep pushing high up the table!!! GO GUNNERS!!!

Well, as for this post, I am writing in the college so I am going to publish it when I get back (as I cannot locate the college's WIFI) because I am here to work on the assignmnets given, it is crazy really, three group assignmnets and the due date is drawing nearer with every passing moment while at the same time, progress on the assignment is not really there...Ever since the mid-term, althought I am kind of used to the life as a university student but I am still very unaware of the exams date most of the time until the lecturer actually remind the class. So, still having problems with that.

Recently, I procrastinate a lot, seriously a lot. I just could not get myseld started on the things that I actually set out to do immediately. From daily chores to my course work. What is happening to me huh? Mid-age crisis? But I am way too young for that excluding the fact that more white hair is growing on my scalp which makes me look kinda old.....sigh~~~

Alright, write till here for now, can't wait for the return of the Premier League!!! Well, that I would never procrastinate =P.

(enter the 18th)

Well, the Arsenal won, I did not watched the game live as the bloody broadcasting crew of ESPN and StarSports will always put the Arsenal as the last choice among the other 'Big 4' as they are less television value so to speak, but last night ended with Chelsea and Liverpool losing while the MU game bored the living daylights out of me and Arsenal won with the most goals scored last night among all, a 3-1 victory and DIG THAT!!! Goals came from van Persie, Diaby and Arshavin, well out strikers are scoring regulary now so that is good news but Walcott got a nasty knock so hope that is no big deal. Not going to write much about the game because I did not managed to watch the match or the highlights at all so I could not possibly know what happened. But the Liverpool game was hilarious, they lost due to their own fan's doing, by punching a beach ball with a Liverpool crest on it that eventually deflected the ball into the back of the net. LOL!

The beginning of another week, all I could say is that at least some work were done on the assignments. Gotta keep that up! Nothing much to write about today as I spent my afternoon in bed...now I may not be bale to sleep at night...just great. Signing off guys, take care.

And the wheel keeps spinning

Updates on the the previous post I'd written. I done some more research and I further cut down on my choices on the phone that I wanna get. Well, there are only two realistic options left for me, why did I used the word realistic? You'll see ;p.

Ok, starting out in the blue corner!....oh wait, cut that....The first contender would be *drum roll*...........*pop* Still the Sony Ericsson W995!!! Well, decided to stick to this rather than W902 mainly due to the fact that W995 feels nicer than W902. Too bad W902...

*that's the baby right there =)

Next, perhaps I would not had thought of it if not for my brother to enlighten me. It would be the HTC ToucH Diamond. Well, its quite a cool phone both exterior and interior just that I am worried about the battery life span which is quite known for not being very long lasting. I did not had a chance to hold the real thing just now as the shop ran out of stock of this model and they also couldn't provided me with an actual price on the phone...what great help huh...

*the white Diamond

*the black Diamond, I prefer this one

As for the unrealistic choices, it is none other than the Sony Ericsson's XPERIA X1 and X2. X1 is nice but X2 is just SWEET~~~! Problem is, X1 cost around 2K while X2 is not even out in the market yet.....so, better luck for me next time I guess...

The X1

The X2

Ain't the X2 just look HOT!!!! hehe, maybe I'll get it in the future...*drools*

Dilemma

This, could be by far the worst holiday I'd ever been through and yea, its not over yet. A week of pure boredom and no football!!!! Well, not going too well in the relationship as well, she is stressed out while I am bored to death, not a very healthy combination...The only thing that went quite ok was the gathering with my CIMP friends (gotta come up with a new term as we are not in CIMP anymore...oh well) which was also an early celebration for Alyssa Ding's 19th Birthday!!!! Happy Belated Birthday Alyssa!!!! Then the usual futsal on Wednesday, we had barely 10 players so we had to last throughout the night which had several injuries which did not help. I even kicked an injured played on the ankle (the injured one some more), purely accidental, I never intended to hurt him and I felt like shit after that. Overall an "ok" night, my game is opening up and learning new things everytime, hope this carries on.

Anyway, back to the topic. I am in a dilemma......I am looking for a new phone as my mom's is dying and she wants mine. Well, mine is not really in a good condition so might need a little bit of service before handing over to her. Well, my parents are generous this time as I think they are going to sponsor my new phone but I think I'll chip in some as well. So, my options are now open, never really planned to get a new phone so I am kinda lost at the moment but I was able to pin down my choices into 3. I am not really a fan of Nokia but I am open for suggestions. My choices now are the HTC Touch 3G, Sony Ericsson W902 and Sony Ericsson W995. Below are my thoughts.

Alright, first up is the HTC Touch 3G, a 3G phone without a 3G function...nice eh? Well, its a smart phone to begin with, with the iPhone around these days, this can only be the minnow among the giants. Well, iPhone is beyond my wildest expectations and I am not really a fan of it as well. So, sticking to this, a 3.15MP camera with no autofocus is kinda turning me off. The only ups for me are that....its a smart phone? touch screen? a unique experience? internet access?

*the 4 colours of the HTC Touch 3G

*this is how big the phone is

Next up, the Sony Ericsson W902. This is one phone that I had been eyeing on for quite some times but the price ain't going down!!! Well, a candy-bar of a design, nothing fancy but the buttons on the side, not really a green light from me but the rest are quite ok for me. It can support up to 8GB of memory, supports 3G, a 5MP and autofocus enabled camera and lastly, its a Walkman series. I am a music lover so that would work for me. However, I can't connect to the internet with this and no GPS as well....nothing is perfect I guess.

*that's the phone, I like the looks of the phone

Lastly, the Sony Ericsson W995. Well, it is a pretty strong contender in my wish list as it has got most of what I want. Its a Walkman series, large memory space, 8.1MP with autofocus, and I could finally connect to the internet with this phone (if I go for it). However, yes, the drawbacks...the price is an issue. It is a slide phone, the durability of that slide is still a question as all this while I am using candy-bar. Lastly, at first glance, I did not like the 4 little buttons on the front but I am kinda ok with it now.

*that's the baby I was talking about

So, which one should I get? or are there anymore good ones out there with reasonable price? Help?

Post-match =D

The smiley says it all does it? On the day which its impossible for Arsenal to lose, they did not. Its the day where fans, present and former players, under the tutelage of Mr. Arsene Wenger's 13th year in charge of the gunners. Before the game, I wished for a 7 goals rubbing on Blackburn, the game went one better, it produced 8 goals. It ended 6-2, a win nonetheless but the best Arsenal performance so far this season, in terms of attacking. A perfect present for our manager, more the same please.

The game actually did not start according to plan, Blackburn took the lead twice but on this day, there will only be one outcome, which is a home win. Goal-machine Thomas Vermaelen added another sublime strike to his name when he bulleted the first goal. Van Persie added a second and soon follow by the third by Arshavin. The next three goals came from Fabregas, Walcott and Bendtner respectively. The man-of-the-match wass Fabregas, who was involved in the first 5 goals as he was already substituted when the sixth went in. He contributed 4 assists and a goal. So those who doubt him, now just shut up!!!

A very good day for me indeed as I had my hair cut just that my sideburn are gone....Oh well, it'll grow back. Below is my picture after my hair cut :

*That's me =D, in my Arsenal jersey (fake one because I can't afford the original,
my birthday is coming soon though *hint*)*

Pre-match

Since the Arsenal game is later, so would leave the review for later, since there is nothing to review about now.hehe

Well then, I just write something to spend a few of my minutes waiting for the game. I am going to get a hair cut, going for a shorter one this time around. Hope it turns out right. Actually, I was supposed to cut it last night but sadly, after driving all the way to SS2, the salon is not open!!! Well, its due to the Mid-Autumn Festival, at least that is the logic I see behind it. So, my current hair is still with me as we speak. May post the picture of my new hair cut here tonight, provided I do not look bad or silly with it on my head.hehe

Holiday is upon the SBL students, after a hectic week 7, where we had all our assignments due and mid-term papers to sit for, its finally time for us to catch our breathe a little for a week. Something unfortunately were to happen though, as my fellow Indonesian friends are packing their bags, preparing to go back to their home's comfort during this period of time, the fact that they actually got their passport to go back to their home meant the world to them as I witnessed, Felicia, my classmate, as one of those unfortunate ones who did not get their passport back. Yea, I went to the Internation Student Office (ISO) with her and Leni. She wasn't the only one that left heart broken, there was another guy there, who failed to get his passport back. So, this got me wondering instead, eventhough my Council's term is coming to an end, we actually did not played any part as the liaison between the students and the management of Sunway University College. Well, upon the thought of this, I began thinking what I could actually do under the name of the Council, discussed with Eugene and found out that this matter is quite common and we may even be dealing with the government. Quite a big issue when it comes to dealing with the government.

So, if this is quite a common issue, not just in Sunway itself, but other institutes as well, why is this still happening today? I had decided to give this case a go and see what comes out from it. Will need to do some extra research on this issue as well, but I am not giving up until I try. Quite frankly, it doesn't feel nice, seeing people from other countries coming to our country and being a victim of our inefficiency...When we want to go home, we could just easilly do so but for the international students here, going home, which is what every living soul holds the right to do, is such a big challenge...Cheer up yea Felicia! Promised I would help you to do something about this so I'll discuss this with my advisors some more then come up with the best solution to ease of your and other internationl students' headache in this issue.

Moving on, I would be going to Genting at the end of this month with Michelle, my two ever so lovely, high, not to mention hot as well nemesis besties in Veron and Sue while not forgetting the others like Yvonne, Yip, Alex and Shen Ee..very much looking forward to that, just that there is another proposed trip to Genting, this coming Tuesday!!! With my classmates, two Genting trips in a month...my wallet is going to scream~~~.Still working on this Tuesday, but I do not mind going twice as its with two different groups, two different experinces and double the fun!

Write until here for now, going to update tonight on the game. Take care!

One down!

*ROAR*!!!! Finally, done with Business Computing Excel assignment, Monday is time to present our hard work and hope its rewarded with a good grade. Well, the happiness does not last long though, there are two more assignments to go, mainly Study Skills and FOB. Well, I have made some progress, hope to get them done with soon but having said that, I am happy again! Arsenal won!!!!

Well, there was a lot of talking from a particular player this time around, Robin van Persie. He talked the talk so could he walk the walk? Yes he can, because the scored the only goal which proved to be the winner over Fulham. His goals are hard to come by but when they do, they are something special. The game was kinda...boring for me because Arsenal weren't playing well, credit to Fulham for that and they really gave us everything they got. So, we were cancelling each other out for most part of the game.

The game also witness the return of Andrey Arshavin. I have to say, his second season ain't as great as his first. He is kinda quiet and not really sharp it seems. A little more time I guess. As for the tall Dane, Bendtner...he looked as seem he has a routine in the game, which is - driblling to the edge of the box, not releasing his teammate with a pass just to lose the ball cheaply or shoot wide. As for Eboue, if he could just, if not taken but tested the keeper with his chances, we would not be under so much pressure. Good thing is Rosicky is still fit and he provides the team with experience, a touch of class and assurance and good passes. Good job Tomas! The defence was quite solid but the young Italian keeper was the man-of-the-match. At a tender age of 21, Vito Mannone, made saves after saves after saves to ensure we go home with all 3 points. Kudos the next Buffon? *fingers crossed*

Well, a so-so day for me if I exclude the win and completing the Excel assignment. Going to bed now, but knowing Chelsea lost just put the icing on the cake XD.

Moving away from football reviews

Well, yea, that's what I get from my friends reading, which I can't blame them because my posts are mostly on football reviews...So now, to add a bit of variety to my blog, I'll write about something else then.

Oh, before moving on, I am serving Nuffnang's ads!!! All thanks to Caren, *link provided at the side so do visit her site and click on the ads to make her happier ;)*. So, help me to click and check out the ads as well yea, so instead of making one person happy, now you'll be making two person happier!!! Thanks yea!

First time writing about my life in university here, can't say I love it but certainly can't say I hate it as well. Ironic eh? Maybe I had it too easy during my time in CIMP? Well, not saying that CIMP did not prepare me well for university, just that for me personally, the gap between the standard back in CIMP and university now is quite far apart. Having said that, CIMP prepared me well in some other expect and by far the most important expect for me would be the exposure of presentations. However, the quality of work and hours of lecturer are a bit short.

Now, I am only taking 5 subjects - namely English, Study Skills, Foundations of Business, Business Computing and Literature...

English, is just plain boring and the lecturer did not really help much is brightening up the class, so yea, gotta live with this sadly.

As for Study Skills, in which I initially thought would be the most boring of classes this semester actually turned out to be the one that I actually enjoyed. Sadly, its over now, only lasted for 4 and a half weeks. But, it did not just went quietly, it left us with assignments to be completed and an exam paper to sit for =.=.

Next up, FOB, not bad for me, but scoring is a problem. Like I said, the quality of work is high, so still struggling to come up with answer more than two pages and that's with my books and notes open right in front of me...

Furthermore, its Business Computing...This, is a KILLER!!! The ironic thing is that, just like study skills, I actually thought that this would be the easier subjects around but how wrong can I be? Our mid term exam would cover all 7 chapters, well, if that's not enough, covering all 7 chapters take up alot of time and what's worse is that the lecturer expect us to be well equipped with the current news and the past examples to support our answers. No doubt this would really train us but a little more help needed maybe? Is this what are installed for us in the next two years?

Lastly, literature. Well, firstly I do not really understand why in a business course we need to take literature? When writing reports or proposals I do not think that we need to include any writing techniques or any poems? I thought its just straight to the point and selling your strengths while covering your weaknesses? But, that's the fact, we have to sit for it. The lecturer herself is very good but her being new, she is struggling to keep the class in order...

Well, that's a bit of my struggles in university but I got a bunch of great classmates so its ain't so bad ;). Just learnt quite an important term in Bahasa Indonesia...yes, I am talking about you Leni, in Bahasa Indonesia, the word 'belanja' which in Malay would mean spend or treat someone to a meal but its not for them, it means shopping...So, be careful when you use this word next time yea. So, instead, say 'traktir'. Signing off~

From despair to delight

All hail and a very big, warm welcome to 'Goal Machine', solid, and a no-nonsense type defender, the Belgian, Thomas VERMAELEN!!!!!!!!! In the Gunners' latest encounter, Wigan came to the Emirates for a visit and we managed to have a simple, straight forward 4-0 win over them. As you might have guessed, Vermaelen was the man of the match, scoring two goals and an ever presence in the heart of defence. Great buy Arsene Wenger!!! The first came from a corner, taken by van Persie and bulleted onto the roof of the net by Vermaelen, then the second, coming from the same source, mind you, he is a defender, he was able to curl his goal into the top corner. The third was kinda funny, with a little confusion in the celebration. Eduardo struck a goal bound shot only to be deflected off Eboue which further guided the ball from the reach of Kirkland's arm. The camera was fixed on Eduardo but it took quite some time for his team mate to come congratulate him. Lastly, the goal came from the captain himself, appeared to be struggling with some sort of injury but he made a good run and brilliantly picked out by Bendtner for the fourth. I think, with the team sweeping aside the so-called 'smaller teams' this season so far, we can have a shout as the problem over the years is that we failed to break teams down who only came to defend and worse, losing to them...So far so good, lets keep moving forward!!!

Based on the game and some previous games as well. I do not think that Persie is the best candidate for the central striker position. Firstly, he is not strong enough as a post up player and he is somewhat a little alone at times. I would prefer seeing either Bendtner or Eduardo up there as they provide physical presence and finishing up front respectively. Although I can see the logic putting Persie there is to be the link and build plays, however, we are missing his goals and he appears to be struggling as well. Let's hope this works.

Yesterday, was the Council's second welfare trip. We brought the kids from the "House of Joy" to the Deer and Bird Park. Nature wasn't on our side as it rained before the trip and towards the end of the trip. Tired but worth it nonetheless. Building up to this trip, I did not sleep, literally for over 24 hours....Ask me why? I can't answer you as well....now I feel like a zombie with burning eyes. Gonna sleep soon guys. So, gonna leave it here this time. Carling cup ties coming up, another opportunity for the young and second string players to play. Come on GUNNERS!!!!

Utterly Disgusted

We lost, 4-2 away at the City of Manchester Stadium, home to the mega-rich Manchester City. A back to back lost, once again in which luck did not favor Arsenal a single bit.

Let's start with the beginning, a Micah Richards' header, which bounced of the post, a diving (very delayed) Almunia who unluckily headed the ball with the back of his head into his own net. 1-0 to Man City.

Arsenal fought back, it was in the second half. Robin van Persie finally scored, a right footed low drive which beat Shay Given. Good goal dude!

Man City got the vital second goal. Sagna lost out to Micah Richards who ran into the box to set up Craig Bellemy who score past Almunia. This happened despite Arsenal are pressing the air out of Man City. Soon, they would get their third, which is to whom I am dedicating the title of this post to. EMANUER MONEYBAYOR, yea, I am talking about you, you asshole, who headed the third and made the effort to run the whole stadium and slide in front of the Arsenal fans to celebrate. Let me tell you this you f**ker, there is one thing call Karma and mark my word you'll definately get what you deserves which I say now is that would not be a nice one. Not to forget you stepped on Persie's face, replay would show how bad was it...Karma my friend. Lastly Man City got the fourth from a counter attack, finished by Wrights Phillip.

Arsenal were to get a consolation, by the returning Tomas Rosicky. Good to see you back buddy. You did very well. Arsenal could made a grandstand finish even though they were down. If there were to finish off the chances they created at the ending stages of the game, it could even end up being 5 or 6 goals for the Arsenal, but the word is IF...

Like I mentioned, Rosicky is back. He did well and hope he build from this. Arshavin, big player missing in big matches, very common for Arsenal...We missed him on the field. Nasri, hope you come back soon. Walcott, prove that you're the next Henry when you're back. All in all, the performance just now, was not up to par with the performance they had a fortnight ago when going up against ManU. Blame ourselves for not really showing up. Let's pick ourselves up Gunners and Gooners alike. We can achieve this year. GO GUNNERS!!!

We lost, simple as that

It ended 2-1, M.U won with the odd goal in their home ground, it hurts just for me to type it because, hands to heart M.U fans, Arsenal were the better team. The turning point of the game? Arsenal themselves. We went into the lead with a screamer into the top corner by Arshavin and we went into the second half leading by 1. The second half, M.U did not really pressed us like they really meant business, however, we gave away a penalty, correct call and taken by Rooney. 1-1, 2 points lost. Then, possibly the best own goal in the history of football itself, by the ever so 'GOOD' or this season could be his break-through season, Abou Diaby...His body posture when going to head the ball from a Giggs free kick, mind you, he was unchallenged, as his he was a M.U player in blue...2-1, 3 points lost. Drama at the end, Persie finally put the ball into the back of the net, after an intial efforts that were saved and hit the cross bar, however, yes, the much dreaded word here, the goal was ruled offside, not him, but the goal. Correct call so I can't complain. What made me even more sad is when the slow-mo replay, with Persie burrying his head with his head, Eduardo was behind him, supporting him, as a face full of agony as well. Gunners, you all did well, however, in the world of football, what matters ain't performance but results. Let's bounce back, as our players come back, we can put up a very strong challenge. Go GUNNERS!!!

UP!

A Walt Disney's special and a production of those that brought us Wall-E (which I didn't watch) come this movie 'UP'. Initially I never planned to watch this movie and out of a sudden, my Dear asked me to watch it. So, I agreed which is one of the correct choice I made after coming out of the cinema in TGV, Sunway Pyramid. This movie does not have catchy scenes, hot girls, breathe taking effects or whatever elements that we are so used to see in movies nowadays. It is just a simple movie with a breathe taking plot. There are laughters, serious moments and also tears. All in all, a very VERY good movie, highly recommended for everyone!!! I'll rate it as a 5 out of 5!!! Just one of my many thoughts, I am not afraid of growing old anymore after the movie =D!

Sticking with up, Arsenal is back UP and on top of the table with a game in hand!!! A 4-1 performance against a troubled Pompey side, could had scored more but I am happy with the win. Celtic next and a big one, away to MU in the weekend. Not gonna write too in depth this time with football but gotta mention this, the fixtures are tough and players are kinda proned or close to getting injured, adding to the long list of already injured players, not healthy bearing in mind that MU is next, hope they can pull a rabbit out of the hat and give it their all. Go GUNNERS!!!

Not feeling well since yesterday, got a heavy head.....hope I recover swiftly and hope everyone else is in good health. Especially my Dear. Peace and take care people!

I'M BACK....and so are some other things

WOHOO!!! I'm back and writing once again! Got requested to update, so here I am. Well, my life has been better since my previous post. Been wanting to update and share the joy but just too lazy =p.

First and foremost, I met a girl, our path crossed, we caught each other's eyes and here we are, entering our 2nd month together. Yea, I am in a relationship, thus far, everything is looking very good, we're getting more and more comfortable with each other and knowing each other more. All are good signs if you'd ask me, but I am no fool, making it work requires constant and on-going hard work and commitment and that is what I'm working towards. That special girl is Michelle! Hope we have a very very very long road ahead for both of us. Love you lots!!! Not gonna share too much about us, best kept private.hehe.

*our 1st picture*

Well, coming back from a very long break, two months by the way, classes are about to start soon. This time around, I am a university student, studying Bsc. (Hon) Business Management at Lancaster University, Sunway University College. Gotten my time table last week and it looks quite decent, neither too hectic nor too relaxed. So, I'm not complaining about it. Gotta start gathering all my motivation and drive back and try to achieve something. Well, I got my girl to help me this time around so I won't be alone down this road =D. So yea, looking forward to this. All the best to me and my fellow friends!

Finally, the Barclays Premier League is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! WOHOOO!!!! Which means, my beloved Arsenal is back in top flight action! I just got back for their season opener, a trip away to Everton, not a easy game by any means. But guess what, having being writen off of any chance to win the title even before a ball has been kicked, they thumped Everton at their groud with an emphatic 6-1 score line. Dig that you critics! A very good game overall and I had not been so satisfied watching the Arsenal's games
. Arsene Wenger set the bar very high for his team, guess I am starting to believe that this team is ready to deliver albeit being light weight. Allow me to share my thoughts on the game :-

New boy Thomas Vermaelen, had a very good game, being the no nonsence type of defender and scoring a powerful header. The front three attackers didn't not really did enough for me but brought other players into the mix which is also good. Arshavin was kinda quiet, Bendtner was ok, van Persie was pulling the strings up front. The captian Cesc Fabregas scored a brace, which is good. Denilson did well and Song shown major improvement playing in that holding role. So yea, with performance like this from the team, they can go somewhere this season. Guess the departure of Adebayor and Toure did not really hurted us. Now, addition players would only further improve the current squad which is a plus point as we lack depth in out squad, we got the money, so I'm hoping the manager would do something constructive with it. Not forgetting, the likes of Walcott, Nasri and Rosicky were unavailable, imagine with them in the side. Fingers crossed

Alrighty, after a long spell out, I can't really write long, so will stop here this time. Have a nice day people. Peace!

My Little Complilation

*blowing and sweeping off the dust*
Ahh~, Its been quite some time since I last visited and post something here...Well, I am back! Quite a number of things happened while I was away, I graduated, I shifted, I went to the Karaoke for the time, I started work and I'd return to write =D!hehe...Not gonna write about what I mentioned earlier, I got something on my mind which I would like to share. So, here goes!

Currently listening to :- GLAY - Missing You (random...I know)

Well, I came across a word recently, which initiated my mind to think and do a little self-searching and also a bit of reference to my past. The word I came across is 'Success'. Well, from what I read is that success is based on one's destiny, whether are you born being talented or just another average Joe like me here. The path to success or failure is already pre-determined and there is no other way but to go with the flow. Well, I disagree because of a simple fact, that's not how I see it ;p.

Without a shadow of a doubt that some people are just born being talented. Well, what can I do? That's just not for me I guess? But having that privilidge does not necessary mean a ticket towards success, I believe through hard work, we can go somewhere and be a someone who actually can do or good in something.

Well, I have a talent, at least that is what I think. I learn and grab new things easilly. For example, introduce me to a new sports, within that period of time, I can actually start playing a proper game, although being sucky at it, but hey, I PLAYED a proper game. Besides, on my musical side, I can play the whole structure of the song after a few trials, for piano its more obvious compared to my guitar skills =p. So, being 'talented', why am I still an average Joe? Simple, because I am lazy, having the ability or talent (in this case) of being a fast learner, I lack the hardworking side for success, I just can't bring myself to further upgrade myself into becoming a someone good in something. So, how can success be pre-determined and we're just plainly following the flow?

Well, that was for a bit of self-searching and I came to realize that I hardly succeed in most of the things that I am involved, well maybe I did had my fair share of accomplishments but those are most than capable of being even better. So, blame myself for not working hard...hehe

Moving on, about my past, about success. I can further prove, besides hard work being the major key to it, one's state of mind is also very important. I'd been telling people to believe themselves in times of hardship or crisis...did that even more back when I was House Captain, trying to win the elusive Inter-House Cup back in High School...The most memorable times were my final two years, Form 4 and 5.

Back in Form 4, I was sort of in my prime, after being 2nd and 3rd in the previous two years respectively, I gained some recognition and was called up for the school team's tryout and training (I made my own luck as well since some of the other better runners transfered). I trained and work hard, maybe this is the only one that I really worked hard for...Ohya, adding to the fact that, I had a mild asthma when I was young, so my stamina was never good and that was my major weakness. I threw up a couple of time due to my incompetence, but I kept it together, pushed myself through. The moment of the inter-school track & field was approaching, it was CNY so I watched my diet, won't wanna gain extra weight before the event and my family and I went to Penang, I rememeber a lot of my family members had food poisoning due to some indian food that we all consumed, yes, WE...I also had it, it was during my time in Penang, that year being my cousin's Uni graduation and the time in Penang wasn't very enjoyable, this period of time just became even more unforgettable...I recovered in time, worked on my limited amount of fitness, getting ready for the event. Until...I got struck down by a very heavy flu, my nose was literally blocked 24/7...no need to elaborate further, painful to just recall it. So yea, having not being 100% fit, I got sick, adding fuel to the fire no? I got a respectable 3 in both my 100m and 200m heats, but it could had been much more better, because, I didn't make it to the finals and the guy ended up 2nd in my 200m heat, was the eventual 3rd place in the finals...need I say more?

Nonetheless, the school's Sports Day arrived, I was in, with a taste for redemption, making my debut in the Boy's A category, where the Form 4, 5 and 6 compete. The favourite was definately from another house while my own teammate was also more than capable of beating me. Like I cared, well that's me, even knowing how slim were my chance, I'll at least give it a try before saying its impossible, at least I tried. Guess what, I made it, I crossed the finishing line 1st in my 100m sprint, albeit by being just ahead by 0.02 second. I won, the joy was overwhelming, as my trademark was to win coming from behind, I did it again! Well, there was a bit of a let down, because I came up short, by 0.1 seconds to break the record...my time was 11.71 while the record was 11.6. Oh well...As for my 200m, it was much more comfortable being 1st, still beating the favourite. Since then, people did not see me the way they used to. I earned the respect I'd got in the field of track & field. Was I talented? Nope, I gained it through hard work and a positive mind.

So, in Form 5, you would guess that I would be an automatic choice for the school team? Sadly, would be believe it? NO!!! They didn't even bother to send...when we're made up for a bunch of last minute recruits, they send a team, when we actually have an established team, having a shout of being in the finals, they did not even bother. My dreams were shattered, my shape was better than it was in Form 4, hey, I jogged almost everyday since the Sports Day, and this is what I get? I lost hope and slacked, until I finally picked myself up, it was a bit too late with Sports Day, my final one approaching fast. So, I diverted into winning as overall champion, I focused on building up the whole team with seasoned atheletes overlooking the whole training process. Well, in the end, we lifted the cup. As for me, I got 2nd in 100m but maintained an unbeaten record in 200m, albeit only for 2 years.hehe...Ohya, I was in the relay team as well, we won the 4x100m for the 2nd year running, but the main story was the 4x400m. My house's Boy's A 4x400m team have never lost for 5 years straight, my year winning would make it 6th. I was pulled into the team as my vice-captain injured himself...I was made anchor (4th runner) as, well, my style is coming from behind...I was sort of like a last resort. Our 1st runner was made for this distance, but he was at a major disadvantage as he just won his 800m moments ago, so he was tired, he ended up 4th or 5th when he passed his baton, 2nd and 3rd runner managed to cut and maintain at 2nd place. Until its up to me....yea, I sound like a hero? Tell you this, it ain't fun. The one in front of me, a seasoned long distance runner and had a 50-60m lead...as for me, you already know about my stamina right? History repeated itself for the 6th time! We won, and I came from behind again.hehe. How did I do it? I blocked out my mind over my fear of running out gas halfway through while motivating myself by saying 'the 6th year running'. I did that until I finally caught up and overtook him at the finishing 100m stretch (my territory...keke). The moment I caught up, my team (up at the stance) help their breathe as they were cheering, when I overtook, the roar that came, I can still remember until today. The rest was just to hold the lead, I did that =D. Both my thighs, shins and calfs, were crying their hearts out and I was in pain, who cares anyway, we'd won!

So yea, was that pre-determined? Was that destiny? If so, then destiny can be altered so easilly, if I had not motivated myself, I would had lost, like in 100m, I wasn't even motivated knowing my own form at the moment. So yea, there is more to being successful. It takes more than one ingredient to reaching that ultimate goal. So, let's all work hard for it yea?

Hmm, I wanted to talk about my personality as well. Remember I mentioned about DISC (a damn accurate personality test) and I am a 'C' type person? Well, basically, a 'C' type person, is being a perfectionist, a person who pays a lot of attention to little details, a person normally in the background, one who relates to the past alot and one that is quite reluctant to changes...Well, those are some of the characteristics, in which I am seeing more clearly in myself. As you can see, the above are all my past, besides that I do alot of referring to my past in other cases as well. So, proven.

Being a perfectionist, it differs in my humble point-of-view, as I would like things to go my way, as how I planned it...kinda like a perfectionist. So, in a way, proven.

Paying attention to details, I think I can categorize myself as being obsessive with this, well, its just me so its definately proven. Besides, I am always more comfortable with the security of being early. For example, when I pack my bag for anything, albeit it being a school day, a trip or even an outing, I'd go the extend of 'double' checking my bag, time after time after time...Besides, if you ever have the chance to see how I manage my playlist...some would say I have too much free time. I can go to the extend of making sure, all spellings, capital letters and spacing of each word is how it should be...That's just me =p

Reluctant to changes, in the real life I am still ok, but when I am gaming, that's where you can see. I prefer an ordered and my style of organization, if you ever played Final Fantasy, you'll understand this. The main character must be the strongest character, if he/she died in battle and did not received any experience points, causing him/her to be behing, then I'll go the distance of making sure he/she gets back in front...Go wonder how I do it...hehe. So, proven.

Well, what I actually wanna write about here is that, I do not know whether understanding my own personality through the test was a good thing or a bad one. Cause, sometimes I find myself, living the way to suit what the definition says....yea, I am scaring myself when I actually realized it. Well, hope its not like that, although some of the things I am doing now had already started way before I took the test. So, hope I am still normal =p

Hehe, wrote a lot this time around, gotta stop here =D. Hope it did not bored you to death upon reading (if you get this far that is...hehe). Peace people! Signing off~

My little box of thought

Had a pretty interesting day, given the fact that classes have ended and I'd got nothing to do. But, I had a pretty good time, going on an outing with Veron and her classmates - Yvonne, Michelle and Alex, not forgetting Yip (I think that's how his name is spelled)...my bad.

So, this is how my day unfold. I went back to college, to study, to just get out of my room, to just see some faces and just like the feeling of being back in college I guess. So, it started a bit bad I if i would put it, as I had to wait a long and painful 40 minutes just for the bus to start loading and eventually leave the station =.=...Wastes a lot of my time there. Then, as I was walking to college, i received a message from Veron so I slightly increased my pace, with a bad ankle and a not so comfortable shoulder, carrying a laptop, that's a bit hard, honestly. As I reached, I woke Veron up and she did not look happy (sensed something was up), so I cut the intro and just opened the door. Soon, I found out what happened then just played some songs that she liked to hopefully cool her down a bit...

Soon, she left for class which is also when my intensive study period begins, gonna really push for my management!!! Ultimate goal is to be the top scorer but I am currently third among my lecturer's classes, which haven't include another group of students yet, so yea, the obstacle is high, but I made my own bed when I slacked of by quite a bit. So, gonna work hard for it and hope things would just turn out to be right for me this time (yea, things aren't quite going my way since the start of this year).

I for one, am quite a restless person, I can't sit down for too long doing one thing (except gaming =p). So, occasionally I move about and some trips to the wash room are also inevitable, in one of the trips, I bumped into Kelly, I was still blur then, as I slept late and really wanted to take a nap (which I did...later). I heard someone calling me, this happens to me a lot, when I THINK someone is calling me but in fact, they aren't, but this time, Kelly did called out my name. I was actually surprised to see that she is somewhat dressed in semi-formal, given that her normal 'dress code' is just sporty or casual, that's my image of her at least...So, something new to go about. She looked more feminine, a bit contradicting to her usual self which will whack and talk crap. *hehe, don't come whacking me the next time you see me yea?* Just joking lar, truth is that, she is still an active and out-going type of girl, so seeing her clad in formal clothes...really an eye opener.

As to Nat, I saw Mr.Sarno just now in campus as well *evil grin*. =D

Ohya, Its also Eugene Birthday today, so Happy Birthday to the big shot! He received an iPhone from his wife, lucky man ;p. Nothing much happening in the SSD, besides the Scholarship Ceremony, which I am not taking part in, wanted to but I decided to give myself a break and concentrate on my finals next week. Well, Ronald was on duty, so the inevitable happened, I helped him out with his stuffs...again.hehe

Wei-Ni came over for a bit, gave me some company which I needed in the SLO, but she only stayed for a while until she is really hungry and gotta eat. So, I waited for Veron, it was kinda late so I texted her which didn't went through, me being me, I started to imagine stuffs out of the blues, thought that she might had left...hehe. That's just me ^^, which is also why I chose not to read or watch any horror or violent movies...my own imagination will kill me =p.

Soon after that, as I was helping out Ronald, Veron came and on we went, to Asia Cafe for lunch and some entertainment, along with Yvonne, Michelle and Alex. Bunch of lively people, fun and comfortable to be with. This is the second official time meeting them, first being Veron's birthday, so, talked a bit and I played a game of pool with Michelle, I lost though =p...hehe. After that, time to go home lu~~~

So, after all these, you might start to think why did I name this post the way I did? Well, its actually based on the conversation which we shared at AC. So, it initiated my mind and it went racing with thoughts, well, that's me too, I may not talk a lot but I think too much. We talked about relationship in general, we got our leading male and female character of course, but I am not gonna disclose it here, basic human rights.hehe

So yea, I started to think, what do I actually want in a girl. To start things off, I am a quiet person by nature, well its just my personal views, I think I would need someone, whom I can relate to, or maybe even initiate some of the topics, well at least my mom thinks the same too. However, based on what I heard just now, such girls are those who prefer someone that can talk as well...Hmm, conflict of interest maybe? Well, my first ex was those who can really talk. So, I think that its still very subjective and more of a case by case basis lor. But hey, the most important factor, to even initiate, the feeling should be there, not just feeling, the right feeling as well. As some would say, one can never have too many crushes, but the bottom line is still that a relationship takes two to make it complete. No point clapping with one hand.

So, having said that, we'd gotta work for what we want as well and also knowing the limits and boundaries that we should never cross. Hey, if things doesn't work out in the beginning, at least can still maintain as friends right? I guess, this would be the biggest obstacle to overcome, at least for me, which is the fear of losing a friend if things get awkward. Haiz, if we do nothing, nothing would happen also, but even if we do, might make the matter worse...What to do? Hmm, about this topic, I do not really have much of a view about it lor, most of the time I would just follow the flow, I take risks, I would venture for something or someone I really think its worth the risk, sometimes calculated while some, maybe not...I let go of my latest crush, a simple way of putting it, just that as time passes on, things would start to get clearer and I realized that might not be the best interest. So~, just leave it as that...

Think I wrote enough this time, gonna go listen and sing 'Drowning' again ^^. I just love this song, gonna try it when the time comes.hehe

Just some updates

Phew~ The month of May, its just not only a month of my finals, but also a month of birthday celebrations...wallet suffered a bit but that matters not, its the thought that matters! So, once again, Happy Birthday to all those May babies, namely Nat, Veron, Elaine and Nicole!

Aside from that, M.U got crowned champions of the English Premier League for the third straight season...Well, congrats to them and work harder next season Gunners. Rumours had already been spreading that Arsene Wenger might leave Arsenal for Real Madrid....NNNNOOOOO!!!!!

Hmm, I donno why, but recently I had been listening to songs in which I listened back in the days. I took some Disney's songs from Wei-Ni. The last time I really watched the cartoons was when I was still young, so I did not understood the whole meaning of the story and of course, the songs. Now, bearing some battle scars along and hopefully a bit wiser =p, I listened to the lyrics and tried to understand it. I actually found it very meaningful, kids are really encouraged to watch and listen to such songs, can really broaden their minds (at least for me).

Besides, sticking with music, I have been listening back to boy bands once again =p...hehe...Clearly, my all time favourite being the Backstreet Boys =D! Then I would think followed by N'Sync since I do not really listen to any other boy bands...Well, been listening to "This I Promise You" from N'Sync, and still find it a touching song, although last time I just liked the whole complextion of the song, without really knowing the words, but know I do =D. I also polished up "Drowning" by the BSB, some that ever heard me singing the whole song would tell you that, I am very 'busy' when attempting this song...mainly cause, I can cover all 5 vocalist's part, although not ALL, but those more significant parts...keke. Now, planning a little trip to the kareoke, gonna pratice it and then show off...hopefully would be greeted by cheers then laughters =p.

Anyway, gotta leave my dear readers with this lyrics, hope you would enjoy it as much as I do =D

"This I Promise You"
N'Sync

When the visions around you
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surrounds you
Are secrets and lies
I'll be your strength
I'll give you hope
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call
When standing here all alone

And I will take you in my arms
And hold you right where you belong
Til' the day my life is through
This I promise you
This I promise you

I've loved you forever
In lifetimes before
And I promise you never
Will you hurt anymore
I give you my word
I give you my heart
This is a battle we've won
And with this vow
Forever has now begun

Just close your eyes (close your eyes)each loving day (each loving day)
And know this feeling won't go away (no)
Til' the day my life is through
This I promise you
This I promise you

Over and over I thought
When I hear you call
Without you in my life, baby
I just wouldn't be living at all

And I will take you in my arms (I will take you in my arms)
And hold you right where you belong (right where you belong)
Til' the day my life is through
This I promise you, babe

Just close your eyes each loving day (each loving day)
And know this feeling won't go away (no)
Every word I say is true
This I promise you

Every word I say is true
This I promise you
Ooh, I promise you
