Veron's 20th, Elaine's 19th

On the 16th May, it was Veronica's birthday while on the 17th May, its Elaine's birthday. A bit of a back to back celebration for my case since I am one of those who cares about such stuffs. So yea, my wallet suffered a bit but that does not matter a bit to me as every cents that I spent is worth every bit of it. So Veron, don't worry about it yea?hehe. This post is dedicated to you both

So, on the 15th of May, Sue and I actually had a plan to have an early celebration for the two of them, Sue made it happened so all credits to her! I managed to got the two of them a present each, with help from my two good friends or nemesis =p. So, only thing left to do is to make sure they show up. Indeed they do, although Veron already knew what's going to happen, Elaine doesn't at that time so we went on with the initial plan. We pulled it off, albeit it being a very small celebration, but its the heart that matters the most. So yea, hope you two enjoyed it.

*Veron and Elaine, on 15th of May

Hmm, this is my first time trying to write this, so yea, bear with me.hehe. I wanna try writing about the whole journey of know each of them thus far.

Firstly, Elaine. Hmm, took notice of her back in the Council 09's first camp, she was known as the girl with the plastic surgery face...So yea, don't really know much about her until the official forming of the Council, in which she ended up as the department's secretary. A very gentle and sentimental girl and often reacts kinda slow to jokes...especially the lame ones =D. Hmm, all in all, really don't really know much of her but its only the beginning, still got alot of chances as we're in the same department. Happy 19th Birthday! Good luck in your exams as well!!! All the best!

Next up, saving the best for the last, Veron. Where do I start? Where else besides the very memorable Junior Leaders? She was the first girl that I met back in Juniors. Back then, I was still very quiet, not out of my own shell yet and there she was, being Veron. So, I was finding my way around until suddenly, the slow pressure cooker (as Sue would normally put it), finally cooked the rice. I, out of the blues, can actually be myself in front of the Council, which I hope is a good thing as I just wanna be myself in front of people, but It takes time to get myself really open to poeple, a bit too long I must admit. Now, her and Sue just can't get me to stop talking, ironic eh?

Now, albeit a bit slow, I am starting to get to know more of her and knowing her better as well. As the common link is via the council, I normally get to meet her and Sue during Council's activities or just during some time in the SLO. People in general, would naturally be in good or bad mood at times, as for Veron, I am starting to get used to it and knowing how much I can do, which is providing a pair of ears whenever needed. People might find her hard to deal with, but I just think that she is very honest with her emotions. So, do not ever try to piss her off... She also sends me back home quite frequently as my place is just located nicely on the way back to her place, along the way I'd just listen to all her stories, whichever that makes her happy or sad or just any other stories that she wanna share. Besides, she also can pack quite a punch in singing. Ohya, not forgetting that she is actually quite easy to be satisfied, simple stuffs can make her go over the moon. AND, she gets high on sugar and she'll start to get hyper and red which is also when the surrounding would not be quiet anymore.hehe

To me, Veron is just like a 'Big Sister' to me, as proclaimed by herself, she got the 'Da Jie' (big sister) aura, which is quite true as she can be quite commanding, in a good way that is. I donno why, I can also relate most of the stuffs happening around me to both her and Sue. Both of them would just come into my mind first if I got anything new or another problem, although most of the time I'll get teased and bullied by them =.=. *shrugs* So, stay true to yourself! Stay happy, cheerful....many more down the line so in short, stay Veron!hehe.

Thanks again for the invitation to your birthday party. Enjoyed myself and I know you did as well which is good to hear. Once again, Happy Belated 20th Birthday! Love ya lotz =D

*giving her speech, with a gigantic 'mic'

Hope I did not miss anything, will maybe just edit some once I recall anything...Its 3 in the morning, so bear with me...hehe

1-4!

Well, just because you asked for it doesn't mean I'll give you the title you asked for Nat. Yea, Arsenal got trashed yet again at home...How to even dream of winning the league when we're conceding goals for fun against big teams. 4 against Liverpool, 3 against M.U and now another 4 against Chelsea. Not gonna comment much as the score line says it all, the old Arsenal with all the possession but no end product is back it seems.

Don't wanna talk about it anymore, got economics test coming up and yet to really study for it. Gonna read through again and fight! Good luck to the others who are sitting for this test as well.

Calling upon the best performance

Well, another outing, another win. How I just hope the Arsenal would perform just like this since the beginning of the season. Overall, a good performance, given the fact that most of the players are made up of the reserves. Good job Gunners. Next up, Manchester United at the Emirates, Stadium. Well, we're a goal down but Man U had never won at our stadium before so we still got every chance of making the final!!! Which is why this title is called calling upon the best performance. May the best team wins the semi, but I would hope that we can pull through.

It was Natalie's birthday yesterday (2nd of May), celebrated her birthday for her in college then off we went to Sunway Pyramid. Had dinner there, crap a bit and laughed quite a bit as well. Just that we didn't managed to go to Amp Square, as the idea of going there has been up since the beginning of the trip, well we didn't go because not all agreed to go. When we did eventually, the rates shot up like crazy so we ended up not going. Well, will just go with the council then. Happy Birthday Natalie!

Ohya, yesterday, 2nd of May, was the council's first welfare trip! Organized by the Department of Special Task, headed by Wei-Ni with support from Nicole and Siew Lee. Good job girls!!! Although only 9 of us ended up going, but the trip was enjoyable and actually 9 of us, was just nice given that we had our problems on the way to the orphanage located in Puchong, will tell you why later.

Well, I arrived at college a few minutes before eight and Wei-Ni had just arrived as well. So, we walked to the SSD just to know that the sliding door is locked. So, I went to the security and asked them to kindly open the door for us. They did but who knows, they only allow me to go in and take the stuffs out...WTH!? We're leaving at 8.30 and you expect me to carry everything out and wait at the cafeteria? Why can't you just leave the bloody door open...Stupid. Moving on, people started to arrive as well, they were namely Jovan, Sarah, Brenda, Kelly, Azryn, Nicole and Siew Lee. When we were loading the stuffs onto Azyrn's car, the alarm of the CIMB atm machine rang like nobody's business, with two technicians there working...My eardrums were literally vibrating with the noise...

Ah, just to think that we can finally depart peacefully, another thing happened... Siew Lee's car's tyre got punctured...Oh..just great huh. So, Jovan and I went to work, changing the tyre on the spot, no choice what. First time ever changing a tyre and it was a success! Thanks to the tips by my dad all this while.hehe. So, Siew Lee said "it seemed that we're not destined to go there". Quite true considering the fact that, I had a long trip trying to find the place, they had another long trip just to find the spot again the day before and not this puncture tyre...BUT, we pulled through and on we went. Now, do you see why 9 people is just nice? Because, from the initial 3 cars driving, we only had 2 in the end with the rear packed with our stuffs for the orphanage...Blessing in disguise.

We had fun at the orphanage, played games and learnt origami along with the kids. The kids are quite nice, easy to get along. But all good things must come to an end. It was soon time to leave. We exhanged thanks and goodbyes. We left, with a smile on our faces, back to college, already looking forward for the next trip. Once again, good job girls!

Back to winning ways

Yep, Arsenal won just now, a 2-0 win over Boro after the breathe taking but disappointing draw at Anfield, we're back among the 3 points club.hehe. Arshavin scoring all 4 goals in that match, received a standing ovation wherever he went around the pitch. Well, I would too. Well, today he din't score any but after the 4 goals, who would blame him? But, he looked jaded or maybe even lazy towards the end as he just did not run much...hmm, injured? Well, not much to write about, just that happy with the results. Keep building a good and strong foundation to beat MU!!! Go Gunners!

Well, the 'Amazing G-Race 2009' has come to an end, another chapter written and closed. Alot happened, some good ones, quite a number of bad ones. Gonna write about in another post, not really in the mood to write about it yet, digesting what happened before I let it all out. Well, hope this can act as a good lesson to not only me, but also my team. Well, I accept all the critics as I think we deserved it. Oh well, we all have low times, I felt down, now still trying to pick myself up. I'll be back and fight for another day. Feeling a bit demotivated, but I wont quit, I'll be putting down a lot of good times ahead if I do. So, still digesting...

We're Out

Yes, Arsenal lost to Chelsea at the semi-finals on the FA cup. A draw would be fair based on the performance of both teams. However, Chelsea created their chances and took them when it mattered. So, Arsenal could only have themselves to blame.

From what I see is that, its almost like de javu, two years ago in the Carling Cup finals, Walcott scored first but Chelsea came out winners. The exact score, 2-1. That's just coincidence I guess. But one very important factor was the starting 11 selection. Why on earth did both Nasri and Arshavin left on the bench!? and why replace both van Persie and Adebayor out before the game end? Mr.Wenger, please go back and look yourself in the mirror, how do you expect to win with both key offensive players sitting on the bench at the start of the game.

You know what, in every Arsenal's game, I'll have this feeling when the team is either ending up not winning, as in a draw or even a defeat. Unless a lucky break pops up like penalty. It was like that as well, even though after Walcott scored the opener. Guess, this time sadly, I am proven right again. Well, the defence was very nervy with a very nervous goalkeeper, Fabianski. The attack wasn't really into it as well. Only Walcott was the main threat but his crossing let the team down. All in all, as i mentioned, we only got ourselves to blame. Congratulations Chelsea...

Clarification...

Hmm, getting a lot of attention due to the previous post that I had published. Guess that's just human nature. Hey come on, its not like I'm going to do something about it, its just my personal opinion or expression or whatever you wanna call it. Plus, in a way, its kinda forbidden to venture forward...which is one of my main fears of having such thing happening, because I had this experience before as well, back in NS =.=. Just my luck huh? As for those who already know without me telling, kindly, I am begging you, to please leave her alone, wanna tease me or what, I don't mind but please do not simply spread around or start picking on her. You know who you are...

Anyway, nothing much happened lately, I missed the game between Wigan and Arsenal, where the young Gunners came from behind to win 1-4. I missed the match simply because there was no live coverage or even delay...WTF!? Its the Champions League next, at home, hosting Villareal, although we have one away goal on our side, but judging from what happened at the bridge, anything can happen in the world of football. So, GO GUNNERS!!!

Lastly, before I go, I really need to say this, my internet connection is almost like non-existence, can come online but can't do anything, super slow wei!!! Can't even log into my MSN, not even loading the Facebook's home page!? AND, to add fuel into the fire some more, I need to do research for my ISU (in short, big project)!!! ARGH, bloody connection which I do not think would recover at all since the contract is coming due on June. So, I guess I'll have to live through the next two months like this. =.=

Its happening again!?

My mind is playing games with me again. I'd gone through it twice and its still coming back! Why can't I just live my life as how I had been living during the first 16 years of my life?......yes, I think am attracted to someone again...Every time this happens, everything will be on the line, including friendship. Am I willing to put it all to the test once more? Am I even qualified to be in a relationship? More importantly, am I even worth for the girl? Me being me, she can definitely find a much better guy compared to me....Oh well, I guess I'll just keep my thoughts to myself. Can't help it, just really need to let it out............Just let time do its job I presume *shrugs*
