Well, another outing, another win. How I just hope the Arsenal would perform just like this since the beginning of the season. Overall, a good performance, given the fact that most of the players are made up of the reserves. Good job Gunners. Next up, Manchester United at the Emirates, Stadium. Well, we're a goal down but Man U had never won at our stadium before so we still got every chance of making the final!!! Which is why this title is called calling upon the best performance. May the best team wins the semi, but I would hope that we can pull through.
It was Natalie's birthday yesterday (2nd of May), celebrated her birthday for her in college then off we went to Sunway Pyramid. Had dinner there, crap a bit and laughed quite a bit as well. Just that we didn't managed to go to Amp Square, as the idea of going there has been up since the beginning of the trip, well we didn't go because not all agreed to go. When we did eventually, the rates shot up like crazy so we ended up not going. Well, will just go with the council then. Happy Birthday Natalie!
Ohya, yesterday, 2nd of May, was the council's first welfare trip! Organized by the Department of Special Task, headed by Wei-Ni with support from Nicole and Siew Lee. Good job girls!!! Although only 9 of us ended up going, but the trip was enjoyable and actually 9 of us, was just nice given that we had our problems on the way to the orphanage located in Puchong, will tell you why later.
Well, I arrived at college a few minutes before eight and Wei-Ni had just arrived as well. So, we walked to the SSD just to know that the sliding door is locked. So, I went to the security and asked them to kindly open the door for us. They did but who knows, they only allow me to go in and take the stuffs out...WTH!? We're leaving at 8.30 and you expect me to carry everything out and wait at the cafeteria? Why can't you just leave the bloody door open...Stupid. Moving on, people started to arrive as well, they were namely Jovan, Sarah, Brenda, Kelly, Azryn, Nicole and Siew Lee. When we were loading the stuffs onto Azyrn's car, the alarm of the CIMB atm machine rang like nobody's business, with two technicians there working...My eardrums were literally vibrating with the noise...
Ah, just to think that we can finally depart peacefully, another thing happened... Siew Lee's car's tyre got punctured...Oh..just great huh. So, Jovan and I went to work, changing the tyre on the spot, no choice what. First time ever changing a tyre and it was a success! Thanks to the tips by my dad all this while.hehe. So, Siew Lee said "it seemed that we're not destined to go there". Quite true considering the fact that, I had a long trip trying to find the place, they had another long trip just to find the spot again the day before and not this puncture tyre...BUT, we pulled through and on we went. Now, do you see why 9 people is just nice? Because, from the initial 3 cars driving, we only had 2 in the end with the rear packed with our stuffs for the orphanage...Blessing in disguise.
We had fun at the orphanage, played games and learnt origami along with the kids. The kids are quite nice, easy to get along. But all good things must come to an end. It was soon time to leave. We exhanged thanks and goodbyes. We left, with a smile on our faces, back to college, already looking forward for the next trip. Once again, good job girls!
